AFFINITIES is for people with a felt need to learn more about themselves and their relationships through research-based psychometric inventories and interactive learning.
ANONYMOUS ACCESS TO OUR WEB SITE
You can access our web site home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data.
Any information supplied by your web browser (such as IP addresses, browser details and page requests) may be logged in order to provide us with statistics about the performance and effectiveness of our web site, but we do not link this information to personal data about specific individuals collected by any other means.
We do use 'cookies' (temporary data stored on your computer). These keep comments for comparison between sessions for users of our interactive learning services and are not recorded anywhere on our systems.

DATA COLLECTION AND ITS PURPOSE
We collect a limited amount of personal data using HTML forms on our web site, but the use of these forms is entirely at your own discretion. The only personal data collected is:

- Your email address
We collect this data in order to provide you with our services and to validate payments. It is not used for sales and marketing purposes, nor do we collect or use this personal data for any other purpose. We do not disclose this personal data to anyone other than PayPal UK, who process our payments. PayPal’s privacy policy is here.
We do gather data in order to score your inventories. You select keys and submit your choices for this purpose. No individual data (name, place of residence, etc.) is stored, though aggregated (collective) data is kept for academic and statistical purposes, the results of which will be published on our site in due course. No records of your scored inventories are kept.

We have implemented technical measures to ensure that any of your data held under our control is protected from unauthorised access or unauthorised modification.
YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights of access to any personal data that we hold about you are as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 (United Kingdom), and are summarised below:
- You can ask us whether we keep personal information about you by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
- You can request a readable copy of your personal data from our Data Protection Officer, although we may first require proof of your identity. We charge £10.00 for this service, to cover our administrative costs. We will send the data to you within forty days of receiving the fee and verifying your identity.
- You may challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data corrected, amended, completed or deleted.
